“We get in the jet stream of faith when we grow together.”    The Emmanuel Promise

Enjoy the turning leaves of a Southeastern PA Autumn at Maplehurst and together, let’s pursue the One who is always pursuing us.

  1. Arrive on Thursday evening to a charcuterie board and welcome, ending the evening in prayer together. Christie Purifoy will welcome us to her grounds and share about the spiritual practice of paying attention.
  2. Friday and Saturday mornings, walk the beautiful gardens of Maplehurst, find a bench for reflection and prayer, and then grab some granola and yogurt for breakfast.
  3. Together we’ll come as the beloved adopted children of God to continue receiving the attachment the Father is longing to provide. We’ll become aware of our personal blockages and draw close to His heart. Author of The Emmanuel Promise, Summer Gross, and her mother, Beth Myers, will lead the morning sessions.
  4. We’ll be forming sisterhood circles of 4 or 5. You’ll have the joy of going home with an armload of new friends, and a small circle of sisters.
  5. After lunch and tea, half the group will enjoy time doing spiritual practices and listening to God’s heart led by Summer and her mother and the other half will…
  6. Join author Kris Camealy in the art tent, taking time to sit with God’s invitations using art collage.
  7. In the early morning or late afternoon, sign up for spiritual direction or formational prayer sessions led by trained directors.
  8. On Friday evening, we’re inviting a local food truck and then on Saturday…
  9. we’ll have a candlelit feast on Maplehurst’s grounds and together, celebrate the deep work God has been doing.
  10. On Sunday morning, we’ll gather to worship our Emmanuel with leader and singer/songwriter, Sindu Giedd, ready to praise and soak in the Presence of God.
